It doesnโt matter how small and inoffensive you make your #braai, you always end up stuffed with more food than feasible, and leftovers for days. And then Caitrรญn baked a totally moreish malva pudding which has completely prostrated us.
Exchanged the same walk for having a bbq on the terrace today south african style, on a german invented grill. Andorran kebabs, catalan sausages and fish in foil.
The latter is most important as I am perfecting the technique and recipe for one of those few overnight trips where an open fire will be possible.
in other news.... got a leg of lamb on the gas #braai for supper.... might pair well with the wine.
Let's see.... no power since 8am this morning. That's 10 hours so far. And we ate one of the fortunate ones with solar. I don't know how other South Africans haven't revolted yet.... at least we can still #braai. Many can't... is #voetsekANC a thing on the 'Don yet ?
