To compound the problem, #TalkBack #Braille has no command to stop interacting with a control, so it's genuinely possible to get stuck. Even so, #Android #Braille is at a level I would personally deem acceptable nowadays-- a statement I never thought I'd write.

On the topic of #Braille, I’m glad it’s now baked in and that somebody at #Google finally dispensed with the old ridiculous commands and added usable, and memorable defaults. A huge flaw, however, is that if you’re typing in a text field, none of the #TalkBack navigation commands work, except for panning the display back and forth. What the actual F, #Google?

I need to read #German #Braille, and have configured #JAWS with two braille profiles: English and German. However, JAWS does not render the capital letter indicator (dots 4-6) when in the German profile, even though the “Suppress Capital Signs” checkbox within the “Profile details” dialog for the German profile is not checked. Lego has made its Braille Bricks available for purchase for the first time. The raised "studs" on the 287 pieces in the set are laid out as the letters of the Braille alphabet, with a visual label indicating the letter too. The set was introduced back in 2019, but only as a kit that was distributed for free to limited recipients, like people and organizations specializing in teaching kids with vision impairments. After a couple years of feedback, #LEGO has decided to make the set widely available.
