This is meant as an example. It applies to other interactions. The spectrum between "per my last email" in professional, formal, or stranger interactions, and "Are you on drugs?" is fascinating to me. I would absolutely respond with "are you high?" to some of my friends, but not work colleagues. So there is a point on the spectrum where the "appropriateness" of a response changes. Call it the "last email on drugs" spectrum. #BrainDroppings
