Well, I really enjoyed #BrandsTown but now that BookFace has created #Threads full of advertising, I imagine this will be the end of the Brands Town instance.

I noticed a while back that the mods of my instance are moderating #BrandsTown as spam. Maybe they took the "dedicated solely to corporate brand promotion" thing at face value? It's too bad because it's one of the weirdo things I really like about mastodon/fediverse.
