It's fun! I can get the 1, 5, and 8 reliably; the 8+3 with some warming up. The next one up is currently out of reach.
I accidentally stumbled upon a whole other set of notes about an octave up, and was even able to hit it intentionally!
My tone is pretty meh, though.
But not bad for a guitarist!

I had a chance to pick up a used Holton H602 single French horn for a really good price. A lot of wear and tear, but the levers are fine and none of the tuning slides were stuck. Plays pretty well. It should be fun to learn. The trombone is my primary instrument, so it’s hard to get used to the French horn mouthpiece. 😂
