The government's own statistics put this value at ...

Try as I might, I cannot find this 500,000 value anywhere.

In the HoFC today #Bravermann persistently returns to section 3 of the HRA

The use of the word “possible” in section 3 clearly indicates that Parliament envisaged when it was written that not all legislation would be capable of being interpreted in a Convention-compliant manner.

She is literally saying she knows her #ImmigrationBill will not be compliant but nevertheless she believes it to be legal.

Let us see ...

Even though it was alluded to previously, #Bravermann has made no reference to expanding legal routes.

It's as if she wants to keep the main thing the main thing.

The Section 19 system (a and b) was designed to alleviate a number of the problems identified within the HRA, including transferring the obligation to make statements of compatibility to the Attorney-General and providing education and training on human rights issues to parliamentarians.

So where does #Bravermann think we are going to send all of her 'illegals' back to?

She then goes on to say this will happen without bail or judicial review within 28 days!

On 14th November 2022, the UK signed a deal spending £62.2 million with France for their assistance with our immigration control.

Meanwhile, 40,000 asylum seekers crossed The Channel.

You can't, "push the boundaries of international law."

You either comply with international law or you break it. There's no grey area.
