To be clear, there is no evidence that Braverman had received a speeding ticket when she asked if she could claim for one on her expenses. It was a hypothetical question. Perhaps she was finding out just how far she could push her luck, or maybe she was 'asking for a friend'.
At this point, who cares? Any confidence we might have had in her good character is gone, and we don't believe a word of it.
Personally, I wouldn't be surprised if her real name wasn't Suella...
