Quick update on the I acquired the other day. Popped it in the oven and it turned out pretty good. Plenty of leftovers to fry up, which is apparently he traditional way to cook it. Thanks to everyone for the tips.

I somehow acquired 3 . While I’ve heard of breadfruit, I have no idea how to get the fruit out, or what to do with the once I get it out. Any suggestions or would be very welcome.

best pickup ever. this is the second time i've gotten their vegan chocolate breadfruit mousse & it was *just* as cold, creamy, & delicious as the first one!

i love that our CSA (daboxbigisland.org/) includes value-add products from local producers.

sometimes it feels like around here, it's all about moving food around to get it where it needs to go (into a belly before it goes bad!).

Visiting my elderly Thai in-laws is always a culinary adventure. They have loads of ancient Thai snacks & dishes I rarely see elsewhere. First time I have come across สาเกเชื่อม candied Breadfruit w/ sweet coconut milk. So, having several breadfruit falling from our two trees each day, I have decided to try it out myself. And not bad at all 😀
