You do know about the linguistic #BREADLINE?

In linguistic terms, the bread line is an imaginary line drawn roughly east-west in Europe.

Those to the north of the bread line use words beginning with 'b' for bread.
brot German
bukë Albanian
brød Danish, Norwegian
bröd Swedish
brood Dutch
brauð Icelandic

Southern European languages use some variant of 'panem' (Latin).
pani Corsican
pain French
pa Catalan
pan Spanish
pane Italian
