Working the kinks out of different #Matrix server configurations. Without a shared secret everything is manual, rooms configured by channel and account by account. Horrible UX but will work with something like matrix.org with no access to server config.

Have what I think is a great idea for the namespace Meta that will help universalize the split concept. Coding it into the lightning plugin now for example.

I don't have a lightning node, but I've been coding lightning network transfers for while now. So I've tested a handful of wallets, and in my experience #breez and #walletofsatoshi were the easiest to get up working on android.

@alby has the easiest by far for desktop use. They call it a podcaster wallet, but anyone can get one. Completely separate from their browser extension. Provides a lightning address which works with keysend and LNurl payments.

Holy fuckamoly. Almost 2 GB of background data used by #Breez. In a couple of days. Without having opened the app. Next time I better don't ignore a system warning about 'more background data than usual'.

Hopefully helpful note about monetization:
https://podcastindex.org/ protocol defines (apart from other things) a way to get voluntarily paid for broadcasting in a decentralized way.
This has been implemented in the Bitcoin world and so users are directly streaming money to the podcasters (essentially voluntarily pay per second)

I have recently set up a Lightning Network node via Umbrel. One of the applications: compensating my kids for household chores. Here's a demo featuring the Breez wallet on the left creating an invoice and the Zap wallet on the right paying it. Zap is connected to LND via Tor.
