If they're going to build this Costco in Brentwood, they also need to extend Sand Creek Rd to connect with Heidorn Ranch Rd in order to provide an alternate means of ingress & egress from the site in order to alleviate the traffic off of Lone Tree which is already too congrested.

It's all open land and it should be no problem annexing the land & bulding the extension, especially if Costco is reqd to pay for all or part of it as part of the project.

Ideally, they should also eventually Sand Creek to Deer Valley in order to make access to Kaiser on Deer Valley more accessible to Brentwood residents but the connection w/Heidorn would be a good start towads that end.

Despite early warnings that it would be delayed, cherry picking is in full swing during its traditional start during the Memorial Day weekend.

The u-pick lots were all full early today as I drove around to see what (or more accurately) wasn't available the Farmer's Market and local food stands.

But, be forwarned, despite predictions that this would be a "bumper crop" for cherries, prices are really HIGH at $5-6//b, which would put u-pick prices at around $4/lb.

I've still got way too many cherries that I preserved from last year, so I'm not going picking this year. Besides, I can already buy cherries at local supermarkets for $3.

But for those who target Memorial Day for a family cherry picking outing, NOW is the time to drive out to Brentwood and grab as many as you can afford.

#TheAnthraxAttacks on #Netflix does a good job focusing almost as much on the #postal workers killed and injured by the (unsolved?) attacks as on the main suspects.

Workers at the former #Brentwood center (all #USPS employees) were kept at risk all through the attacks, unlike workers at every other attacked site.

All non-mail deliveries to #WhiteHouse offices across all buildings were permanently ended, and all mail was (is?) irradiated off-site.
