Took a sneaky sample of a test batch from under Monika’s nose last Friday (she’s our Head of Quality). . It’s a ‘Gesha’ varietal from Mikava in #colombia. Their #coffee was used to win the most recent World Brewers Cup. Just #brewed a cup. It’s sublime. Easily fits in category of top .01% of coffee in the world.

In our #BrewEd sessions we specifically ask for no toots of slides or direct quotes from speakers. As a result our presenters know they are in a safe and inclusive space and can be more honest and authentic.
This was a culture change after the first few events, we found there were always I'll intentioned people looking out for something to mock or take the wrong way.
It's been a really effective change.
@katexcellence #HotCoffee is overrated. If your #coffee is good enough and #brewed well it should taste just as good at room temperature as it does fresh.
