Went on a couple #bike rides around the #QuadCities this past weekend. They have a great trail system on both the #Illinois & #Iowa sides of the #Mississippi (#Bettendorf #Davenport #RockIsland #Moline) I also visited several good #brewpubs, #RadicalEffect #Wake #Rebels&Lions #AdventurousBrewing #MidwestAleWorks #CrawfordBrewWorks

Quirks of #Mississippi #politics: shutting down the sole #abortion provider & opening up many #marijuana providers in the same year. Late '90s, the state rejected legalizing #brewpubs, yet there was a longstanding (technically Illegal) brothel/BBQ openly operating in the community, whose beer I suppose was non-local. Now there's a brewpub, believe the brothel is gone. Sex & drugs go back and forth, following the money I suppose, but the #RockAndRoll stays pretty constant.
