Bridalveil Falls Late Winter
Looking across the valley is this beautiful view of Bridalveil Falls. The falls are flowing but slower than one might expect as the snow that feeds the creeks and streams above the falls needs some warmth to melt to start the flow. Bridalveil Falls
Bridalveil falls is usually the first major waterfall that most visitors see as they enter Yosemite Valley.
This particular image was taken from across the Merced River during the spring time. As can be seen in this image the mist from the falls is very strong.

Bridalveil Falls

Bridalveil falls has a height of 617 feet from top to bottom.

I tried to get as much of all of #Niagara #Falls - pictured from #Canada where you can see it much better. Mostly #HorseshoeFalls with the #AmericanFalls and #BridalVeilFalls to the left. Got a nice shot of the rainbow from the Falls mist with the #MaidOfTheMist boat in it

Growing up in California, I spent a lot of vacations in Yosemite. I took this picture a few years back and I remember it being so cold out that my hands and arms shook. It took a couple of shots before I was satisfied with the picture.
