Bride of Frankenstein has me thinking about how the mad scientist horror film with Bela Lugosis running around making doomsday machines kind of faded out by the 50s (exempting, of course, some Hammer Films and Roger Corman-esque Drive-In fare). I'm just assuming tgis is because all of the mad scientists signed up to work for Lickheed Martin once the Cold War came around ...
