Just finished watching #Brightburn from producer @jamesgunn and I have to say that was a seriously fucked up movie. Well done. 🙏

“Brightburn” (2019) is an excellent alternative take on the early life of a super-powered individual. It deserves significantly higher than its current IMDB 6.1⭐️, with a plot that can be summarised in ROT13 as “Jung vs Fhcrezna’f cneragf unq unq fvavfgre hygrevbe zbgvirf va fraqvat gurve fba gb Rnegu?”.

Everyone knows the story of Superman's arrival, crashing to Earth and being found and adopted by a couple on a farm, right? Brightburn is a rather different take on how that child with superhuman powers might turn out. Excellent movie, but dark. And graphic. Viewer discretion advised, as they say ... 😳

Just finished watching #Brightburn and I must say that this movie is awesome!

Wenn ich an #Brightburn denke, dann fällt mir vor allem eine endlos lange Zeit im Kino ein, in der der Trailer lief. Über viele Monate gesehen, konnte ich diesen schon mitsprechen. Von Anfang Mai auf Ende Juni verlegt, konnte ich mir jetzt endlich das finale Ergebnis im Kino ansehen.
