For those who aren't sure if #Imbolc is Feb. 1st or 2nd... the answer is "Yes". 🙂 It's an evening to evening celebration, usually celebrated with bonfires and candle light, as Brigid is one of the few female deities of fire and the forge, though she is also worshipped as a goddess of healing, poetry, fertility, and such a strong goddess in Ireland that the essence of her myth was reborn in the Catholic Saint Brigid of Kildare. She was my first Patron Goddess. 💖 So I have so much love for her. She will *always* be on my altar and in my heart, every time I write and create art... especially poetry.
