Visiting #Norway 's National Museum I came across a photograph (top) of the #Briksdal #Glacier taken by Knud Knudsen in 1872.

A quick internet search led me to a photograph taken around 2018 from the same vantage point (bottom, credit jamie@explorewithed.co.uk)

The recession of the glacier is simply scary. What have we done?
