@motoridersd I also didn't like the missing launch menu, with searching, when I messed with Budgie. Some Mate installations also have that super key activated search and start menu. If you want it, and it's missing from your Mate, you can add the Brisk Menu package. Is Budgie extensible that way? #GNU #Linux #MateDeskTop #BudgieDesktop #BriskMenu

I'm going to live in #MATE for a while. I genuinely like #GNOMEShell but... I also like old school features like a functional system tray and the option to have a screensaver (#Electricsheep!!). #BriskMenu, the dock panel applet, and #Marco's (new) quadrant tiling are nice, too.
