Probably the most-photographed bristlecone pine in the world. It’s long dead, but still it stands against the elements high in the White Mountains of California. A marvel of nature, among the oldest trees (thousands of years) in the world are the bristlecone pine, They thrive in the harshest of environments at high altitudes. These were photographed in Great Basin NP, Nevada in 2019.
