I am looking for slow compelling dramas that aren't dystopian. Pops of humour always welcome, as is utter bloody silliness.

Pretty much any language as I use subtitles even in English.

Finally found a #britbox show that we liked (“Chef White’s”) only to discover it got cancelled after 6 episodes. Those 6 episodes were hilarious, though...

First episode of Beyond Paradise: good to see Goodman in action again but it’s a bit exhausting to return to the “Who is this incompetent goofball who thinks he can solve crimes and have a girlfriend?” storyline. Especially after the warm, kind atmosphere of Death in Paradise. I don’t know why 21st century drama often translates into horrible petty people treating each other poorly. #britbox #BritishTV
