If you need to know one thing about #BritishCycling take this: they give you car stickers, so you can put them on your back window and show yourself as the utter carrot whilst close passing other cyclists (including cycling with little children) to be first at the next read light 30m down the road.

"Those whose sex was assigned female at birth are also able to compete in the ‘Open’ category if they so wish."

The question is how many cis-women cyclists will choose to race in the open instead of female category. This may be the best way of subverting British Cycling's unscientific and political move to ban #trans women from women-only racing.

I read too many comments on newspaper websites today on the topics of #BritishCycling 's new turd and #ClimateChange. So now I am really upset.

Oh yes.

What I'd like to see is cis-gender competitive cyclists who respect their #trans colleagues respond to #BritishCycling by boycotting the male and female categories, and insisting on racing only in the open category.

This may be a naive fantasy on my part.
