#brexit was an imposed divorce from fellow Europeans the other side of 21 miles of water. It wasn't my choice; I resent it still. #quitters cannot now expect me to meekly adopt their ridiculous #globalBritain identity with any enthusiasm - particularly when evidence since 2019 largely gives the lie to this arrogant claim of #britishExceptionalism
