"The average London renter is already putting 40% of their wages straight into their landlord's pocket, and this situation shows no sign of improving on its own."

And the Prime Minister blames the Mayor of London, which isn't exactly reassuring...

The UK is sinking like the Titanic and to distract their voters, the Tories stoke their fears about one of the most fucked over groups in society.

They're throwing trans people under the bus in order to stop people focusing on how the rich are getting richer, but they're getting poorer.

From @RichardJMurphy

"We are heading for a worrying five years under Labour"

Hard to disagree. Starmer's Tory Lite messaging is desperately disappointing for anybody liberal/left leaning.

"Rishi Sunak has done everything right – but politics is unfair
The prime minister should be praised to the skies, but instead the voters seem to have given up on him"

Couldn't disagree more. Sunak may be, arguably, a bit better than Bozo or Thrush but he has shown himself to be a vain callow, unprincipled, coward who afraid to take on the toxic destructive elements of his party like Sue Ellen and the other right wing loons.

UK: new bill to ban councils from adopting ethical procurement policies condemned as 'outrageous' | Amnesty International UK

>Bill would make it unlawful for public bodies to make decisions about procurement or investment policies on ethical and human rights grounds

Unique status given to Israel in bill shows legislation driven partly by desire to prevent opposition to human rights violations against Palestinians

Sunak is set to accept Bozo's corrupt 'honours' list. Sunak is utterly spineless and his commitment to bringing “integrity and accountability” to Downing Street is nothing but a hollow joke. On the other hand, with a majority of just 4,117, the Tories stand to lose Alok Sharma's seat.

Caroline Lucas is standing down as an MP in the next election. I agree with Richard Murphy, she has been a force for good in the sewer that is Tory dominated British politics.

Millennials are getting 'more' left wing as they get older. That's what spending a large part of your adulthood under a Tory government does for you.

Richard Murphy's prediction is that the Tories deliberately wreck the economy in an attempt to make the next government's task as difficult as possible.

Paradoxically, deliberately wrecking the economy will, surely, make the Tory losses greater and mean that more Tory MPs lose their seats.

I am not sure.
