I got the impression from an earlier #MotoringFile article that #MINI was aligning with BMW on paint colours, so #BritishRacingGreen wouldn’t be available on upcoming #Cooper series (madness, I know!), however I’m pleased to report that is not the case! 🙌

Still not super thrilled about the replacement of some real buttons and switches with capacitive touch and voice controls, and the perhaps too large central display (spy shots only at this stage), but you’ve got to take wins where you can.

Vintage Black & Decker Workmate.

12 months ago I reassembled my vintage Workmate. I've got a thing about #BritishRacingGreen so that was the obvious colour for me.
I sand blasted and laquered the aluminium H-frames and bought new rubber boots for the legs.
The top was in good condition so it was given a light sanding and an application of boiled linseed oil.
