Just found this 45 year old newspaper under the carpet while clearing out my Dad's place. Sadly, Charlie Windsor was in the headlines even then.

Who’s paid the cost in all this?
In watching the documentary “Harry & Meghan,” of greatest interest to me personally were the historical references to the British monarchy as shared by both Afua Hirsch and David Olusoga… esp. the accumulation of wealth from the financing of slavery beginning with Queen Elizabeth and extending to the abolition of the slave trade… followed by the airbrushing of that history and all the human suffering it caused as a result.

It's hard to hate the whole clusterfuck that is (including the very concept) and then to be sympathetic to a dis-crowned prince who's trying to use his credentials of being born a royal to get prime media circus gigs. I'd rather watch a Wes Anderson movie about dysfunctional super-rich again, or reread Salinger. At least I can empathize better with fictional versions of entitled mediocrity.

Few senior editors or producers will have the nous to sense an of this such is the level of hysteria we are in. For someone to take a stand and suggest a change of tone or some diversity or an iota of critical thinking would risk their career.. there’s a risk that this completely over-the-top coverage will backfire as..
