It’s time for quarterly #transmitter maintenance at one of my sites today. I always enjoy this one because I get to light up this #VacuumTube powered beauty and put it on the air! Ever since I had that Flexstar exciter repaired, it can even do HD Radio on a tube!

I’ve gotten these calls at times from random people telling me I need to turn one of my stations down because I’m blowing out their favorite local outlet… I can’t control atmospheric conditions no matter how much you ask.

Well, that ain’t good. HD Radio #transmitter at one of our sites doesn’t seem to like today. Engineers from the large cloud-adjacent broadcaster are also reporting weirdness on their IBOC input port on the combiner… waiting to hear back from the love-adjacent one but they’re kind of a ghost town when it comes to engineering.
