Does anyone on Mastodon have context on why everyone seems to have rolled over and accepted this iteration of the Broadcasting Treaty? @eff , ALA, IFLA, etc were strong voices against it in 2006/7, but now are either silent or weakly proposing mitigations. #wipo #BroadcastingTreaty #IntellectualProperty
