The location of Merlin’s prison-tree is usually given as the legendary forest of #Brocéliande in #Brittany.

Der goldene Baum/golden tree/ arbre d'or. Steht im Wald von #Broceliande (Paimpont/ #Bretagne) Der Sage nach ist dieser Walt ein zentraler Ort in der Artus Saga. Er steht direkt am Anfang im Tal ohne Wiederkehr. Nach einem Waldbrand wurden 1991 30.000 Bäume neu gepflanzt. Als Erinnerung wurde einer mit Blattgold überzogen.
This area is a mayor part of the Artus legend. After a bushfire 30.000 trees were planted. In remembrance one was covered with gold.
