I am a long-time fan of old school #CountryMusic, but not the corporate-style #BroCountry of folks like #JasonAldean. It is sad that #CountryRadio continues to play his hatemongering cliche-ridden crappy pseudomusic.

Of course, thankfully we do have the growing #Americana music format, which I enjoy on stations like #KUSH (1600 Am in Cushing, #Oklahoma) and #KNBT (which I listen to online since it is in #NewBraunfels, #Texas).

The Nashville Sound was the gateway drug to #BroCountry.

Ironically, real #country #music fled and migrated to #Texas as #OutlawCountry and Texas singer-songwriters.

I thought it might have had it's last stand at the #Alamo, but a spark appears to have reignited with the emergence of #Sturgill Simpson, Jason #Isbell, Tyler Childers and maybe even Chris Stapleton. I'm partial to the first 2.
