@SRLevine Replacing the panes with tempered glass might help. The downside is that tempered glass is significantly heavier.

(Having had a Basset Hound shatter a front porch window when she saw another dog walking past the house, I replaced the pane with tempered glass. It's too heavy to lift, but I can still open other windows out of her reach on the porch.)

Interesting article explaining the theory in in the strangest way possible. I agree we shouldn't burn down a city (or planet) to create jobs.

The argument goes: 'we need green energy to save the planet.' counter: 'that's bad for jobs' (coal and oil). Counter back: 'actually there's reason to think it'll increase jobs.' Then this article...
