I'm suggesting a paddle using kayaks for #HarborLab with the #BronxRiverAlliance or maybe #RockTheBoat and I realize there are really two parts. North of the #BronxZoo dams and south unless you walk the canoes past those dams. What organization did the paddle?

The floatables are all from upstream. ie. Westchester County. Large pieces of packing foam. Lots of parts of the #BronxRiver are quite nice. I'm involved with #VineCuttting organization that does a lot of work along the Bronx River in Westchester Couny.

A story about a small concrete dam being removed in Northern California to restore habitat to #eels and other fishes.
Do not know why this cannot be applied to the many dams on the #BronxRiver.
