@SubplotKudzu hrm. The things you seem to be missing is The Patrol and to a lesser extent the Stake Out (as opposed to Steak Out followed closely by Grilling and Chilling). Supers go out and look for clues to problems. Allows #brooding and building interpersonal relationships somewhat related to idea of subplot being interrupted by the wandering problem. Somewhat related to the OSR idea of monsters moving into previously cleared areas.

I've noticed that this thinking regime happens to me. I'll just have a feeling of anxiety, like something is wrong and then I'll realize that in the back of my mind there is something that has happened or hasn't happened, or something I've said or didn't say that is eating away at me. Interestingly, the notion of #mindfulness comes up a lot.
