Congratulations to #BrotherJones and #JustinPearson and to #tennessee 🙌🏽
Re~Elected ! 🗳️
#brotherjones #justinpearson #tennessee
Our planet needs for more young people to work in and to run for seats in our governments around the world, but desperately so especially here in Tennessee!
Representative Dennis H Powers
(R-Jacksboro):
“There is no climate change.”
Representative #BrotherJones (D-Nashville):
“Thank you, Representative, for making the case for investing in public education — so we don’t have lawmakers who have this mentality.”
Have you seen this terrific picture of #BrotherJones of the #TennesseeThree?
@Abdiel @JuliusGoat
My #Tennessee "representative" is the one that made the motion to cut off debate on #BrotherJones expulsion sadly.
Just dropped today: A majority of Nashville’s city council members say they’ll vote to send #brotherjones back to Tennessee's state Capitol as soon as Monday. #tenesseethree
Here were the Republican “NO” votes on expulsion of each member of the #TennesseeThree👇🏽
#brotherJones & #Justinjpearson we’re expelled. #VoteGloriaJ survived by 1 vote.
Charlie Baum of Murfreesboro was the only “No” on all 3.

@cjrando
In today's Tennessee expulsion of #BrotherJones and #JustinPearson one of the White men brought up how hard it was on him when he started in the Democrat controlled TN legislature and brought up how they controlled it for 140 years.
It's never mentioned how the racists left the Democratic Party starting with the Civil Rights Act.
Going on right now…IN THE ROTUNDA: “WE STAND WITH JUSTIN!” - #brotherjones _ right after being expelled.
They #expelled #BrotherJones, but not Gloria Johnson. Those 65 aye votes represent people that have entirely missed the point of our cries of #NeverAgain imo.
#NeverAgain #brotherjones #expelled
#BrotherJones "We were calling for a ban on #AssaultWeapons and your response is to assault democracy"
Damn, my representative, Kelly Kiesling, called for the vote to expel #BrotherJones
#BrotherJones, a Democratic lawmaker in Tennessee, facing expulsion over his advocacy for tighter gun laws in the wake of last week’s Nashville elementary school shooting was physically assaulted by a Republican on the State House floor on Monday, video footage shows.
