I disagree - I think #labour are very focussed on winning the #nextGE - I worry that in doing so they are trying to micro-manage the selection of candidates which will not work

I understand the caution on grand promises .... but I see no reason in the informaton made public why #Broxtowe cannot choose the candidate they prefer, who did more or less in line with national trends in the last 2 GE

If there is a valid reason - let us know. If not, let them choose their candidate

Looking more into the #LabourPartyUK #Broxtowe kerfuffle. They may have just lost the seat in the next election. Greg Marshall is well known and liked in the community and probably would have won it. I would have voted for him without much thought tbh. I truly loathe the practice of parachuting in candidates and I really don't think I can vote for one of the Londoners. If Greg stands as an Independent I'm voting for him. What a sorry state of affairs.
