I used to travel round the UK for work. Hearing local accents in their subtlety going from place to nearby place always fascinated me.

And, of course, now and then, away from home, I'd hear a "normal" accent. That cross between #BlackCountry and west Birmingham that's my #Brummie accent.

This one is bog-standard. To visit London in Shakespeare's time and be one of the groundlings at the #Globe. Not only would I see the medieval city but I'd hear Early Modern English and how the plays sounded in it.

Perhaps meet the man himself and hear if he sounded like a #Brummie?

On a totally random tangent - I was in the US passport queue at Dublin airport, about to miss my flight, when a security guard came walking towards me - I thought, thank ** for that!

Then she pulls the chap behind me out of the queue. It was Cillian Murphy... (star of Peaky Blinders)

I shouted after them "I'm a Brummie too!" but it fell on deaf ears ;)

To be fair, he was very humble and apologetic about jumping the queue
