Nice end to the day today at #Folktale #Vineyard #Winery in #CarmelValley #California at #sunset. The lower clouds were stationary while the upper clouds were ripping by heading north at a very fast rate. The edge of the clouds was maybe 10 miles west of us at the most. I think we'll just have a few showers tonight and temps in the high 30s in #Monterey.

If you need some wine on the #MontereyPenninsula , this winery does not suck.

In continuing with my series of large paintings I did with my and neighborhood kids here is Anne Frank.

I would tell the kids a story and then I would paint 1/2 the space and they'd get the other. This is what they came up for Anne.

I used it to teach myself figure and perspective. I intentionally stayed away from color.

Another crazy ass painting I did with the kids where I got pieces of plywood and painted them for fun, entertainment and to teach myself how to paint.

This is a crazy piece I did couple years ago with my own an neighborhood kids when I was teaching myself black and white painting. I painted the family and Black Jack the horse in lower left corner. I then told the kids the story I was trying to capture and they painted their half of the painting. This is still one of my favorites. Lot of crazy stuff going on.
