Loaded up the "Rogue Cut" of "Days of Future Past" while working this evening.

It's pretty phenomenal how well Matthew Vaughn wrote Magneto, and it's pretty appalling how poorly Bryan Singer understood the same character.

It's too bad that Fox elbowed Vaughn in favor of Singer after revitalized the franchise with "First Class".

I disliked that #ZackSnyder made #Superman and #Batman kill, but I understand why he did. He wanted to portray superheroes hardened by the ills of the postmodern world. In a way, that's better than #BryanSinger's #SupermanReturns choice to play it ultra-safe and homage #RichardDonner.
