Erst vor rund zwei Monaten haben wir über das ehemals sehr erfolgreiche Start-Up #Brydge berichtet, einem Hersteller von #iPad-#Tastaturen. Das Unternehmen hatte seinerzeit den Betrieb eingestellt, konnte Angestellte nicht mehr bezahlen und Bestellungen nicht mehr bearbeiten. Nun gibt es jedoch einen Silberstreif am Horizont: Die Produkte sollen auf den Markt zurückkehren.

Das Unternehmen hat im vergangenen Jahr nach mindestens zwei gescheiterten Übernahmen mehrere #Entlassungsrunden durchlaufen, Angestellte von Brydge haben seit Januar keine Gehälter mehr erhalten. I was close to buy their keyboard multiple times but the early reviews (e.g. by @jsnell and others) kept me from doing so. Once Apple shipped the Magic Keyboard I wasn’t interested in any 3rd party option anymore, it’s just that good.

I've honed my #travel setup over the years to my #chromebook which has a #4G #esim an external USBC monitor (1080p) my #brydge Chromebook keyboard, a #logitech pebble mouse audio and Mic are a #sony SRS-xb13 all powered by a nice plug/usb combo and a hefty power bank for on the go
The whole thing connected to #tailscal to be part of my #homelab
Makes photo editing, music and something to watch other than CNN much easier
