I bet y’all love a water element in your woods. If you’re drawn to flowing water you might be a “fluviophile.” The word origin for Middle English “fluvio” is the Latin fluvialis < fluvius, a river < fluere, to flow. “Phile” is Greek from philos for “dear, beloved.” This lovely flowing pool is on Barnes Creek in the lowland old growth forest near Crescent Lake, WA, out on the Olympic Peninsula.
