Has anyone successfully setup #BTCPayServer to federate over #I2P network, rather than than Tor?

While on the topic of #federated systems, aren't #bitcoiners embarrassed that they're on the invasive #MSGitHub platform? This question extends to #fedizens who list the #MicroShaft forge prominently in their bio.

The sooner we use alternative #forges day-to-day, or move to something like #ForgeFed the better.

Anyone in #retail have experience setting up #BTCPayServer?

How difficult is it? How many #lightingChannels does one generally need to have open in order to have lightning payments work reliably?

For those who might not know BTCPayServer is #FOSS and designed for Layer2 Bitcoin, ie. what most people consider as the #LightningNetwork, which is designed to operate over #P2P networks, like Tor, to protect the identity of the payer as best as possible.

I have massive troubles with my btcpayserver not syncing the Dash node anymore. Since a longer time unable to take Dash Payments, so I am looking for an self hosted alternate to btcpayserver to be able to integrate dash into Woocommerce again.

Any suggestions and boosts welcome

Just tested the #BTCPayServer connection to #CLN on a #Raspiblitz.
Easy as suggested in the help clues. It is all about the file permissions. Will make an entry in the CONNECT menu about it.

Been experimenting with btcpayserver, pleased to see that it's actually not too hard to set up a full node with btc and lightning support, and pretty trivial to add things like donation pages, a *lot* of functionality under the hood. I'm also using it exclusively over Tor HS for now, i.e. no domains (which are always a bit annoying).

You can even donate using payjoin at the link on https://joinmarket.me .. I tested it and it worked first time :)

Suggestion: add directory.btcpayserver.org to the menu at the top of btcpayserver.org, I only found it way at the bottom in the right corner.
Finding merchants is something users like myself are interested in!
