I finally watched “The Adventures of Buckaroo Bonzai Across the 8th Dimension.” And it’s fine. It’s an inoffensive, ginchy, camp sort of B-movie. It’s a crazy 80s version of Doc Savage.
There are some good parts but they don’t connect well enough to make a good whole. Really like that cast though!
If you love it, I’ve got no beef with that.

Fast forward to today, and a friend of mine who is somehow always dealing with drama told me that she wants to relocate to “get away from all of the negative influences” in her life.

The words just fell out of my mouth: “no matter where you go, there you are.”

And suddenly I understood
