anyway, the last bit from my notes, is a bit more personal:
I’ve always been harping, for years, on how #OCaml and #JavaScript VMs are just such a surprisingly-fantastic, low-impedance match (see the whole #Melange, #BuckleScript, #ReScript, category — they're _fantastic_ to use in practice); …
but now i’m learning that Wasm is … basically OCaml’s semantics, EVEN MORE DIRECTLY, in a bunch of cases, lmao.

Has anyone here worked with #Bucklescript? Trying to use #Haskell on the front end and it's come up as a possibility.
Hoping the dive into #ReasonML (& thus #bucklescript to convert to JS) goes "reasonably" painless. Interesting jumping off point for me.
I'd passed on #OCaml as interesting many a time because of it's total lack of multi-core support, which in my databanks is rumored with a 0.7 confidence to be improved since that zero-mark. The #unikernal-ists are compelling (#MirageOS) and hopefully useful across to Reason but I'm not holding my circuits open for that.
It's not like I don't have enough compilation probs
