While #StarTrek is my oldest still-active fandom, I loved a lot of sci-fi and fantasy things as a kid that are, nowadays, pretty much nostalgia-bait and little else. I really loved the Gil Gerard #BuckRogers show, for example. I still remember seeing the big-screen repackage of the pilot at the base theater on Parris Island as a kiddo, and the novelization of that film was _probably_ the first SF novel I ever read. #BeedeeBeedeeBeedee

I had a busy weekend dealing with odd issues around the house, so no progress pic of Dr. Theo tonight.

On the upside, what I had envisioned as a single video covering all of the remaining physical aspects of Dr. Theo's build has been refactored into several smaller (and more manageable) videos. I had hoped to start cutting the first of those together this weekend, but #HouseIssues.

This was my second attempt at printing the front bezel for Dr. Theo. While it fits, it wasn't as smooth as I was going for - it ended up being a 24-sided torus. I thought about sanding/filing down the corners, but I wondered if there is a better way. I'm trying a different 3D CAD application to see if I can get a better torus out of it.

Here is the cross-section of the front bezel for Dr. Theo. Not only is this part of his look, but once I anchor it to the cookie cutter, it'll keep all of the facial layers in place (the back bezel will be removable, allow access to everything inside).
