Does anyone know a #BuddyPress developer? The function bp_activity_at_name_filter_updates really needs to be more careful of @text inside HTML attributes.. My earlier post about my instance hating my embed was actually BP messing with things it should leave alone. Fixed with a filter to stop it entirely but a more location-sensitive reg-ex should go on the to-do list.

For those who might be interested, Humanities Commons is a Wordpress #Multisite and #Buddypress platform, targeted towards academic in the humanities, where members can create websites and participate in groups.

It runs on very similar technology to Poetry Garden! Great to see them in the fediverse :)

All this fediverse attention has me yearning for a proper Crock of Time community, not just a #Discord server. I have been trying to figure out for a long time now how to do this. It would be a serious undertaking and I'm not sure whether to build this on #WordPress or not. #BuddyPress is a quick fix, but I'd need to customize the experience for #fermentation logging or #recipes.
