that being said i am open to suggestions for a pre-amp and bookshelf speaker combo (ideally sub £500 all together)

currently i've got a DX3Pro+ as my DAC/AMP which can do RCA line-out but i keep hearing that it's not really enough power for most bookshelf speakers

my room is pretty tiny (roughly 4x5m) - and my desk is equally small so small & punchy would be ideal

i was considering the Q Acoustics 3010i and a Topping PA3S - but stop me if that's dumb
