@davetansley @anonymous_x I'm playing the #ZXSpectrum 128K version of #BuggyBoy right now on my #Harlequin128k and you'd be surprised how well it plays!
Yes, at first it looks odd, even trashy to the #C64 user's eye but: since I have a soft spot for the #Speccy and since I have made myself familiar with the user experience it delivers, I don't think it's that bad at all!
The only annoying thing I noticed is that when the gear shift is showing "Hi" on the Spectrum version, you're actually in "Lo" gear ... how ever that passed through testing ... 🤣

Today I feel ...
... #Speccy !!
.oO(when placed between my #Modular64 and my #Harlequin128K, cat "Otto" made his choice!)
So, cat-ching up ^^ on an older conversation, it's #BuggyBoy (128K version) on the #ZXSpectrum today!

Buggy Boy (Speed Buggy in the US) always felt like a game that deserved to be remembered more fondly. Sadly, it always seems to fall through the cracks between the likes of Outrun, Power Drift and Chase HQ.
This is a shame, because it is a fun little racer that received some mostly decent 8-bit ports on the #Amstrad, #C64 and #Spectrum.
But which one was the Buggy-est Boy of all? Step this way...
