Meanwhile, I continue to learn to play the bugle my wife bought for my sailboat in lieu of a can of noise.

It's fun! I can get the 1, 5, and 8 reliably; the 8+3 with some warming up. The next one up is currently out of reach.

I accidentally stumbled upon a whole other set of notes about an octave up, and was even able to hit it intentionally!

My tone is pretty meh, though.

But not bad for a guitarist!
