Luma Tower on the southside of Glasgow.
Designed by Cornelius Armour in a Steamline Moderne style and built in 1938, it's one of the best preserved Art Deco buildings in the city. It was originally constructed as the Glasgow headquarters of the British Luma Co-operative Electric Lamp Society.

Former police barracks on Clyde Street in Glasgow. Built in a neo-classical style in 1894, it was bought by the Salvation Army in 1934 to create a women's hostel. It later served as a men's hostel before finally becoming student accommodation in the 2010s.

Charles Rennie MacKintosh's Martyr's School in Townhead, Glasgow, as seen from Castle Street.
Built in 1895 for the Glasgow School Board, it was built using snecked red sandstone blocks and Glasgow-style details to give it a distinctive appearance.

The former Mechanics Institute on Bath Street in Glasgow.
The original three storey building, constructed in 1861, was designed by James Salmon Senior. A further two storeys were added by Arthur Hamilton around 1910, while the uppermost storey was added at some point in the 2000s.

The former United Kingdom Provident Building in Glasgow City Centre.
This building is easily overlooked amongst all the other magnificent buildings which surround it on Saint Vincent Street, but it's a bit of an architectural gem in its own right. It was designed by John A. Campbell in a mix of Classical and Baroque styles and was built in 1906.
