Hora ruit, tempus fugit - the hour rushes, time flies
A sundial on the south wall of the #Bullekerk ("Bull Church" 1680, officially called the Westzijdekerk) in #Zaandam, North Holland.
It bears its nickname from a local legend; cattle markets used to be held on the square in front of the church; one day in the 17th century, a pregnant woman, was tossed on the horns of a bull and gave birth there to a healthy child.
